Cooler weather…check. Flowers blooming…check. The beginning of Spring… check! So now all I need is some patio update but specially in the area where we usually dine. A couple of years back my husband and dad raised a pergola. This is now our favorite area to sit and to dine during the weekends. When temperatures get cooler we like to put our dining set under the pergola. This way we get a shaded area perfect to enjoy late diners during the following months.
Our old patio dining set needed an update pronto! With the help of Better Homes & Gardens at Walmart, I was able to find the perfect pieces for under the pergola.

Because Better Homes & Gardens at Walmart at Walmart offers a variety of outdoor pieces, for me it is best to mix and match. And while they also have incredible patio sets, I've always love to add personality by combining different pieces.

Like I've mentioned above, I went for that mix-and-match look. For my chairs I used a set of Better Homes & Gardens Belfair 4-Piece Patio Wicker Dining Chair Set with Gray Cushions along with the Camrose Wood Bench.This combination was ideal for our outdoor dining area and my daughters love having a bench where they can easily hop in and out to continue playing.

Over our new dining table, I wanted to bring a sample of what's been blooming in our garden during this spring. So I picked up some of our plants, already in terra-cotta pots, and used them as a centerpiece. Two Better Homes & Gardens 10 in. Outdoor Llama Planter added a whimsy touch to this corners of this arrangement.

Sitting in this area during the evenings is the highlight of our weekends. Having a space surrounded by nature brings a fresh feeling into our lives and definitively a reason to take a break a breath slowly. What area are you planning to update during spring?
